O gruboklastycznym osadzie permskim w zachodnim obrzeżeniu niecki śródsudeckiej
Abstract
Fakt ten sygnalizuje istnienie intensywnych ruchów tektonicznych w karbonie dolnym i permie.ON COABSE-CLASTIC PERMIAN DEPOSITS FROM WESTERN MARGIN OF THE CENTRAL-SUDETIC BASINThe western part of the central-Sudetic Basin (western Sudety Mts) is contiguous to metamorphic cover of the Karkonosze granite. The Basin is infilled with coarse-clastic Culm deposits at the base and . Upper Carboniferous standstones and siltstones and Permian and Cretaceous rocks overlying them (Figs. 1, 2, 4).Coarse-clastic conglomerates hitherto regarded as the-Culm are directly contiguous to the cover the Karkonosze granite. Dip of conglomerates cropping out between Opawa, Jarkowice and Miszkowice is markedly discordant in relation to both the cover and other sedimentary rocks from western part of the Central-Sudetic Basin. Moreover, it was found that cement of these conglomerates is reddish. Samples for palynological studies, taken at the highest point of this area, at Pańska Góra, yielded sporomorphs of the Carboniferous and Permian age {Tab. 1-2). It follows that sedimentation of this coarse-clastic material took place in both the Late Carboniferous and Permian and it evidences activity of tectonic movements in these times.Downloads
