Postęp w badaniach geofizycznych Instytutu Geologicznego w latach siedemdziesiątych
Abstract
Omówiono postęp w metodyce pomiarów, przetwarzania i interpretacji danych geofizycznych. IN GEOPHYSICAL SURVEYS CARRIED OUT BY THE GEOLOGICAL INSTITUTE IN THE 1970'sDevelopments in methodology of measurement, processing and interpretation of geophysical data are discussed. The greatest progress is found in reflection seismics and geoelectric methods. Moreover, some new geophysical methods such as gamma radiation spectrometry and mercurometry were introduced and aerogeophysical surveys were initiated. The paper also presents a review of geophysical recognition of the country in the last decade. Special attention is paid to regional studies carried out in the Polish Lowlands and the Carpathians by means of seismic methods, as well as prospecting and exploration of solid raw material deposits carried out in the most perspective parts of the country with the use of various geophysical methods. Geophysical works carried out for the needs of hydrogeology, engineering geology and mapping are also discussed. The final part of the paper deals with main directions in developments of the geophysical surveys planned for the next few years.Downloads
