Wody mineralne i termalne warszawskiej niecki brzeżnej
Abstract
Na podstawie wyników opróbowania głębokich otworów dokonano oceny możliwości wykorzystania wód mineralnych do celów praktycznych. Określono skład chemiczny wód, warunki hydrodynamiczne i termiczne w poszczególnych poziomach zbiornikowych. Badaniami objęte były poziomy wodonośne od dewonu do kredy. Szczegółowo omówiono utwory mezozoiku, które tworzą najlepsze zbiorniki termalnych wód mineralnych w warszawskiej niecce brzeżnej.MINERAL AND THERMAL WATERS OF THE WARSAW MARGINAL BASINRecent developments in studies of mineral waters of the Warsaw Marginal Basin made it possible to evaluate perspectives of use of these waters.Mineral and thermal waters occur at large depths in the Warsaw Marginal Basin and adjoining areas. They were studied in 60 boreholes made in the years 1958 - 1977. The results of sampling of these boreholes were used to characterize hydrochemical, hydrodynamic and hydrothermal conditions in deposits ranging from the Devonian to Cretaceous in age.The Lower Cretaceous and Jurassic rocks form the most suitable mineral and thermal water reservoirs. Conditions most advantageous for exploiting thermal waters were found in southern part of the Warsaw Marginal Basin, characterized by artesian flow.Water of the CI-HCO3–SO4-Na type generally predominates in marginal parts of the basin, gradually passing into that of the CI-Na type towards the center. This is accompanied by increase in mineralization from a few to some dozens g/dm3. The highest temperature of water flowing to a borehole was 42°C but there are some possibilities to obtain warmer (about 50°C mineral water.Under advantageous hydrodynamic and geothermal setting, low-mineralized water may be also used for heating of objects but this would require further, especially designed hydrogeological surveys.Downloads
