Budowa geologiczna strefy wychodni liasu między Gowarczowem a Rozwadami
Abstract
Przedstawiono nowe ujęcie budowy geologicznej małego wycinka terenu wychodni liasu świętokrzyskiego w jego najdalej ku północy wysuniętej części. Obejmuje on obszar około 160 km2, położony między Gowarczowem a Rozwadami. OF THE ZONE OF LIAS OUTCROPS BETWEEN GOWARCZÓW AND ROZWADYGeological structure of a small section of the area of outcrops of the Holy Cross Mts Lias is discussed. The studied area is situated between Gowarcz6w and Rozwady, at the contact of large Końskie synclinal element and Gielniów megaanticline. The Lias is here represented by all the series (9) currently differentiated. in almost 1000 m section of this geological formation. The Quaternary cover is relatively thick here and natural outcrops rather scanty so the analysis was mainly based on borehole data. New data, especially those from boreholes made in the last few years in connection with search for raw materials in the Lias, made it possible to revise and precise cartographic image of this area (Fig. 1).The paper also gives brief outline of the history of studies of the Gowarczów - Rozwady area, characteristics of lithology and stratigraphy of rocks occurring here, and block tectonics of that area. New localities of bivalve fauna and trace fossils are listed.Downloads
