Przedstawiono rozwój poglądów i stan aktualny wiedzy o rozmieszczeniu osadów górnokredowychw basenie północnosudeckim.

DISTRIBUTION OF CRETACEOUS ROCKS IN THE NORTH-SUDETIC BASIN

The paper presents the evolution of views on stratigraphy, distribution and extent of individual horizons of the Cretaceous (Fig. I). An actual image of distribution of various Iithological types in individual stages of the Upper Cretaceous in the North-Sudetic .Basin is outlined with the reference to newly obtained borehole data (Figs. 2-6). A zonality in distribution of deposits (sandy deposits on SE and marly or siltstone on NW), time shifts of alimentary area supplying sandy material, and changes in extent of marly facies were found.
