Uwagi do podziału cyklicznego cechsztynu w synklinorium północnosudeckim
Abstract
Przyjmuje się policykliczność osadów dawnego cyklowemu aller.SOME REMARKS ON CYCLIC SUBDIVISION OF THE ZECHSTEIN IN THE NORTH-SUDETIC SYNCLINORIUMThe assignation of Zechstein rocks of the North-Sudetic synclinorium to individual cyclothems is still the subject of controversy. The studies carried out by the author were initiated in central part of the basin. where four cyclothems are developed in salinary facies. The analysis of development and distribution of individual beds southwards, i.e. towards the shores of the basin. showed that deposits of the Aller and Leine cyclothems wedge out in central part of the Żary anticlinorium. In southern part of the anticlinorium and the whole North-Sudetic synclinorium, the Zechstein is represented by deposits of the Stassfurt and Werra cyclothems only. It follows that the Main Dolomite of the Stassfurt cyclothem is the only present in the North-Sudetic synclinorium. The Werra cyclothem is represented by transgressive deposits only whereas higher cyclothems are regressive in character. This is consistent with northward shift of extents of rock salts of the latter cyclothems. Polycyclic nature of rocks formerly assigned to the Aller cyclothem is accepted.Downloads
