Analogie w rozwoju faliny otwornicowej Rifu marokańskiego i polskich Karpat zewnętrznych (fliszowych)
Abstract
Przedstawiono charakterystykę wybranych zespołów małych otwornic z fliszowych utworów Rifu marokańskiego oraz ich korelację z zespołami otwornicowymi polskich Karpat zewnętrznych. Porównywane zespoły wykazały duży stopień podobieństwa składu gatunkowego, spowodowany przynależnością do tej samej prowincji paleobiogeograficznej Tetydy.ON ANALOGIES IN DEVELOPMENT OF FO.RAMINIFER FAUNA IN THE MOROCCAN RIFF AND POLISH EXTERNAL CARPATHIANSSmall foraminifer assemblages from Cretaceous-Paleogene flysch of the Moroccan Riff resemble some of those known from the Polish Flysch Carpathians in specific composition. Assemblages identical in specific composition include: 1 - assemblage with numerous Trochammina vocontiana Mo u I l a d e - Barremian; 2 - assemblage with Plectorecurvoides alternans N o t h - Albian; 3 - assemblage with numerous Uvigerinammina jankoi M a j z o n - Turonian; 4 – assemblage with numerous Hormosina gigantea G e r o c h - Lower Senonian; 5 - assemblage with Rzehakina inclusa (G r z y b o w s k i) - Upper Senonian; 6 - assemblage with microfauna of the Frydek Marls type - Maestrichtian; 7 - assemblage with numerous Glomospira div. sp. - the lowermost Eocene; 8 - assemblage with numerous Cyclammina amplectens G r z y b o w s k i - Middle Eoeene; 9 - assemblage with Cyclammina rotundidorsata (H a n t k e n) - the lowermost Upper Eocene. The recorded similarities of microfaunas from so distant parts of the Tethys made possible preliminary biostratigraphic subdivision of flysch series of the Moroccan Riff (J. Morgiel et all., in print), giving further support to faunistic unity of the Tethyan Province in the Cretaceous and Paleogene times (J. Szczechura, K. Pożaryska, 1974; J. Salaj et all., 1979; W.A. Berggren, J. Phillips, 1971).Downloads
