Kierunki transportu materiału we fliszu podhalańskim na podstawie danych z dorzecza potoku Leśnica
Abstract
DIRECTIONS OF THE TRANSPORT OF MATERIAL IN THE PODHALE FLYSCH ON THE BASIS OF DATA FROM THE BASIN OF THE LEŚNICA STREAM (EASTERN POD HALE)SummaryDetailed sedimentological studies of the Podhale Flysch in the basin of the Leśnica Stream provide additional data on the distribution of the sources of material and the directions of its transport in the Podhale Trough. The author finds, for the first time, that in this part of thePodhaleBasintransport of material proceeded not only from the west to the east but also from the north to the south. The oldest member of the Flysch are the Szaflary Beds which occupy a large part of the area investigated here and are developed in a marginal fades. On the other hand, the Zakopane Beds and the Chochołów Beds, which are developed as medium- and fine-grained flysch, correspond to the central part of the sedimentation basin, in which the Podhale Flysch was formed.Downloads
