Wstępna analiza parametrów fizycznych osadów (jura-karbon) z profilu Studzianna
Abstract
A PRELIMINARY ANALYSIS OF THE PHYSICAL PARAMETERS OF DEPOSITS (JURASSIC – CARBONIFEROUS) IN THE COLUMNAR SECTION AT STUDZIANNASummaryThe authors present the results of their analysis of the physical properties of sediments in the columnar section of borehole Studzianna IG-2. The following four parameters were taken into consideration: specific weight, bulk weight, total porosity, and effective porosity. Changes in these parameters throughout the particular stratigraphic units are also presented. The relationship between these parameters and the depth was examined by means of Spearman's coefficient of rank correlation. The purpose of this examination was to determine whether changes in physical parameters followed any trend. This was found to be true in the case of bulk weight and porosity of sediments of the Lower and Middle Bunter Sandstone and of the Lower Carboniferous. The same trend, namely the increase of bulk weight and the decrease of porosity with the depth, was found in the columnar section of the whole borehole (0–4062 m) in general, regardless of subdivision into the particular stratigraphic units.Downloads
