Fotogeologiczna analiza zdjęć satelitarnych Karpat
Abstract
W wyniku interpretacji zdjęć satelitarnych standardowych i cyfrowo przetworzonych opracowano mapę fotolineamentów Karpat i zapadliska przedkarpackiego. Analiza mapy wskazuje, że szereg fotolineamentów znajduje uzasadnienie w znanych uskokach i strefach tektonicznych. Rozkład i kierunki innych fotolineamentów świadczą o możliwości wykorzystania tej mapy do dalszych opracowań geologicznych Karpat, zarówno kartograficznych, jak i regionalnych. W artykule podjęto również próbę analizy niektórych fotolineamentów nie mających dotychczas odbicia w znanych zjawiskach geologicznych.PHOTO GEOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF SATELLITE IMAGERY OF THE CARPATHIAN MTS The usability of satellite imagery in studies on geological structure, especially location of discontinuous tectonic elements, was evaluated. Attention was also paid to some problems connected with methods of interpretation, in search for ways to establish optimum variants in interpretation of geological elements. The interpretation was based on rich and diversified material, mainly comprising LAN DSAT imagery, and the used methods included visual, analog and numerical ones. The results of interpretation are presented in the form of photo geological map in the scale of 1 : 500,000. The map shows photolineaments, several of which appeared identifiable as discontinuity zones and synclinal and anticlinal folds after checking with the available geological maps in similar scales. However. there were also found some other photolineaments which may represent hitherto unknown tectonic elements. We assumme that results of interpretation of satellite imagery may represent valuable contribution to geological studies in the Carpathians.Downloads
