O możliwości występowania karbonatytów facji subwulkanicznej w rejonie niecki żytawskiej (Sudety Zachodnie)
Abstract
Przedstawiono hipotezę o możliwości występowania intruzji magmowej typu centralnego oraz związanych z nią karbonatytów facji subwulkanicznej w rejonie niecki żytawskiej w Sudetach Zachodnich. Pozycja strukturalna i budowa tektoniczna obszaru, jak również przejawy metasomatozy węglanowo-fosforanowo-alkalicznej oraz mineralizacji Th - TR - Nb, przypuszczalnie związanej z trzeciorzędowym magmatyzmem alkaliczno-zasadowym sugerują taką możliwość. Proponuje się wykonanie kompleksu badań powierzchniowych oraz otworu wiertniczego dla potwierdzenia tej hipotezy.ON POSSIBLE OCCURRENCE OF CARBONATITES OF SUB-VOLCANIC FACIES WITHIN THE ZITTAU DEPRESSION (THE WESTERN SUDETES) A hipothesis is presented on possible occurrence of carbonatites of sub-volcanic fades linked to a magma intrusion of central type. Presence of central type magma intrusion within the Zittau Depression can be deducted, from evidences of effusive rocks, Tertiary in their age, including: phonolites, trachytes, nepheline and hornblende basalts, basanites, tephrites, haüynophyres, as well as ,dikes of monchiquite or alnoite type. Conditions favorable for the occurrence of central type magma intrusion also result from the structural position of the Zittau Depression itself, since it is situated within a tectonic intersection in which series of faults parallel to a fault zone of Lusatia traverse the Ohře rift zone (Fig. 1). One of the intersection occurs to be impressive as in the satellite photos a circular structure can be clearly visible within the Jasna Góra area. Furthermore, occurrence of sodalite-syenites; trachytes, essexites, nephelinites, melilites, polzenites, as well as carbonatites are well known in the Czechoslovakian sector of the Ohře rift zone. To other evidences of possible occurrence of carbonatites within the Ziltau Depression belong: dikes of carbonate rocks of calcite-ankerite and siderite-quartzy type with relics of plagioclases and post-biotite chlorites, and other rocks metasomaticaly altered. It is worth noting that an alkaline metasomatosis predominates in the area under study, while a phosphate and carbonate metasomatosis is of lesser importance. It was also prayed that manifestation of Th - REE - Nb mineralization occurs within the circular structure of the Jasna Góra area (Fig. 2).Downloads
