Paleomiąższość, litofacje i paleotektonika kajpru górnego na Niżu Polskim
Abstract
PALAEOTHICKNESS, LITHOFACIES AND PALAEOTECTONICS THE UPPER KEUPER IN POLISH LOWLANDThree palaeothicknes and lithofacies maps (Figs 1 – 3) of Upper Keuper, comprising various lithological rock complexes developed in various conditions are presented. Univocal nature of stratigraphical positions of rock complexes presented in particular maps is unquestionable in wide areas (Tab. 1). The analysis of these maps resulted in the palaeotectonic map of this time span (Fig. 4). A series of depressed zones with increased subsidence compensated by sedimentation and limited by uplifted zones, were distinguished in the basin. It results from the analysis that a palaeotectonic picture of Upper Keuper was influences by the Older Cimmerian tectonic movements which manifested them selves during the whole the sedimentation period of this complex with their culmination at the boundary between Carnian and Norian.Downloads
