Systematyzowanie stratygrafii epikontynentalnych utworów permo-mezozoiku w Polsce
Abstract
Przedstawiono podstawy merytoryczne i zasady organizacji prac nad systematyzowaniem stratygrafii permo-mezozoiku, zgodnie z uchwalonymi wcześniej „Zasadami polskiej klasyfikacji, terminologii i nomenklatury stratygraficznej”. Jest to wprowadzenie do serii artykułów na ten temat, które mają być sukcesywnie publikowane. SYSTEMATIZATION OF THE STRATIGRAPHY OF THE EPICONTINENTAL PERMIAN AND MESOZOIC DEPOSITS IN POLANDResumeThe first Polish code of the stratigraphic classification, terminology and nomenclature was published in 1975. Since then further work has been commenced aiming at the creation of the system of formal stratigraphic (mainly lithostratigraphic) units according to the rules of this code. The paper presents the organization scheme and programme of one of the working groups which take part in this activity. The first stage of this work is to analyse the existing informal stratigraphic subdivisions and to put forward - after thorough discussions the proposals concerning further formalizing procedure. The results of this stage should be published. The next paper in this issue, by L. Malinowska, deals with the biostratigraphical problems of the Upper Jurassic in Poland.Downloads
