Dolnokarboński flisz okolic Srebrnej Góry (Góry Bardzkie) - ilościowa analiza sedymentologiczna
Abstract
Przedstawiono szczegółową charakterystykę zmienności z pozoru monotonnej serii turbidytowej okolic Srebrnej Góry. Obok konwencjonalnej metodyki obserwacji sedymentologicznych zastosowano wybrane metody statystyczne. Wyniki analiz zinterpretowano w kategoriach zmienności warunków sedymentacji na obszarze dystalnego (dolnego) stożka podmorskiego.LOWER CARBONIFEROUS FLYSCH FROM THE SREBRNA GÓRA REGION (GÓRY BARDZKIE MTS) - QUANTITATIVE SEDlMENTOLOGICAL ANALYSIS In this paper detailed characteristic of the sedimentation conditions of the distal turbiditic series of the Srebrna Góra region were presented. Aside of the convertional sedimentological selected statistical methods were applied. Studied profile of Iitical sandstones interbedded with mudstones and claystones is composed. Sporadically occur here finegrained and middlegrained para-conglomerates. Thickness of the sandstones layers is from 0.02 to 0.6 m and covering them shales from 0.01 to 0.15 m. In the uppermost part of the profile in the limits flysch banks occurs 40 m thick layer of olistostromic formations. Stratigraphical thickness of described formations reaches about 160 m. In the profile all successful turbiditic banks were measured indicating for each of them: total thickness, thickness of the sandstone, thickness of the shale and type and sequence of Boumy elements. On the basis of the diagram of variations of the banks thickness 100m profile sections were determined: average thickness of turbiditic banks; average thickness of sandstone; relation of the sandstone thickness to the thickness of the shale; variation of the turbiditic banks thickness; percentage of participation of banks starting with successive Boumy elements; Walker's ABC indicator computed with formula ABC = TA + 0.5TB, where TA and TB means percentage of bank starting with Boumy elements A and B; pre- and post depositional entropy of the sedimentary system. Their values were arranged in different kinds of graphs and diagrams allowing trace vertical trend of chanes in conditions of deposition of studied turbiditic series.Downloads
