Radiolarie z miocenu okolic Posądzy (zapadlisko przedkarpackie)

Abstract

Opisano 17 gatunków radiolarii pochodzących z iłów nadgipsowych okolic Posądzy (zapadlisko przedkarpackie), omówiono wyniki analizy badanych zespołów i ogólną charakterystykę oznaczonych gatunków.

MIOCENE RADIOLARIANS FROM THE VICINITIES OF POSĄDZA (CARPATHIAN FOREDEEP)

The paper presents the results of micropaleontological studies on radiolarians occurring in Middle Badenian deposits in the vicinities of Posądza (Carpathian Foredeep).

There were found 17 radiolarian species. The studied assemblage is characterized by large number of individuals and a small number of species. Specimens with large, massive tests predominate here and there is a marked predominance of the representatives of the suborder Spumellaria.

The studied radiolarian assemblage is compared with similar assemblages described by W. Barwicz-Piskorz from other localities in the Carpathian Foredeep as well as other assemblages known from the Miocene of Roumania and Ukraina.
