Historia ruchów staroalpejskich w południowo-zachodniej Polsce
Abstract
Najczęściej mają one kierunki WNW-ESE.HISTORY OF THE OLD ALPINE MOVEMENTS IN SW POLAND After geosynclinal period terminated with the Sudetic Phase in SW Poland it begun an early platform period which continued up to the Lower Permian. A regular development of a platform, without any diastrophic sediments, begun in Zech-steinian. Up to the end of the Upper Cretaceous the following tectonic movements occurred:1. Movements which resulted in transition of marine facies into terrestrial ones - Labian and Palatinian Phases, during the latter one Orlickie and Karkonosze-Izera Massifs were uplifted. 2. Tectonic phase at the end of the Lower Trassic caused ingressions and resulted in transition of terrestrial facies into marine ones. 3. Movements after a period of erosion, most probably during the Middle Jurassic, resulted in marine transgressions. 4. Movements during marine sedimentation: a - in Zechsteinian causing cyclic sedimentation; b - uplifting of Sowie Mts area in the lower Middle Turonian and upper Upper Turonian (transport toward the Intra-Sudetic Basin); c - up-lifting of Złote Mts (cordillera?) during Coniacian (transport toward the Upper Nysa Klodzka Graben); d - uplifting of the eastern part of the Fore-Sudetic Block during Cenomanian, Lower Turonian and Santonian (transport toward the North Sudetic Basin). The movements of the Laramide multiphase caused postsedimentary deformations during Wernigerode Phase (in the North Sudetic Basin), Ilsede Phase (Cretaceous deposits at Opole in the upper Nysa Kłodzka Graben) and an older phase (in the Intra-Sudetic Basin). Laramide movements were compressive in character and caused reverse faults, tectonic grabens and half-grabens. Tectonic transport was to SSW and in the upper Nysa Kłodzka Graben probably to W.Downloads
