Wpływ przykrawędziowego drenażu na obieg wód kredowego piętra wodonośnego na Żuławach Wiślanych
Abstract
Obszar ten pokrywa się z występowaniem wód słonych w rejonie Nowego Stawu - Nowego Dworu Gd.THE IMPACT OF THE BY-CREST OF BENCH DISCHARGE ON THE GROUNDWATER FLOW IN THE VISTULA DELTA REGIONThe Cretaceous aquifer of the Vistula Delta plain occur at depth 90-100 m below the surface and consists of the two environments: fissures in geizes and limestones and also interstices in the glauconitic fine-grained sands. The lower Tertiary sands and sandstones belong to the same aquifer in the eastern and southern part of the area analysed (Fig. 1). The saline groundwaters of Cl - Na type and of up to 8 g/1 TDS, Occur in the middle part of the mentioned strata. The analysis of the dynamics of the groundwaters has been carried out by the numerical solution of the Boussinesq equation as well for the flat model in plane (x. y). as for the cross-section model (x, y). The test of the first model comprises selection of transmissivity and recharge/discharge - function W in eq. 1, 2. The data of hydraulic head measurements have been taken as criterion of the precision of the solution. According to the calculated equipotential map (Fig. 4), the zone of discharge of the aquifer analysed, stretched out along the crest of bench of the lakelands plateau, surrounding the delta plain (Fig. 5). The same result was obtained by the calculation of cross-section model (x, z). The stream lines of the groundwaters are concentrated in the distance of 5-10 km in the base of lakelands plateau slope (Fig. 6). One can establish. that only in the southern part of the Cretaceous aquifer of the delta, there exists deep groundwater circulation. There is no groundwater circulation in the middle, more wide section of the delta - vicinity of Nowy Dwór Gdański, Nowy Staw. It is the zone where the relic water from the Pleistocene sea transgressions or from the ascension of Mesozoic brines could survived.Downloads
