Model magnetyczny podłoża krystalicznego wzdłuż profilu Parczew-Chełm
Abstract
Do konstrukcji modelu przyjęto założenie o istnieniu dwóch zasadniczych formacji krystalicznych. Płytsza, mniej zasadowa może wypełnić zapadlisko w przedziale rzędu 4-8 km. Bardziej zasadowa i o silniejszych własnościach magnetycznych stanowi jego podłoże i obramowanie w postaci wyniesień Kumowa i Parczewa. W modelu uwzględniono też możliwość występowania wylewów magmy typu bazaltowego. MAGNETIC MODEL OF CRYSTALLINE BASEMENT ALONG THE PROFILE PARCZEW -CHEŁMRocks forming sedimentary cover are undoubtedly related to tectonic framework of its crystalline basement. The basement occurs at large depths so its borehole control remains poor. Localization of boreholes which may markedly contribute to the knowledge of geological structure and its studies is facilitated by geophysical surveys. The paper presents an attempt to reconstruct tectonics of the crystalline basement in the Włodawa Depression on the basis of distribution of magnetic field anomalies AT along the profile Parczew-Chelm. Magnetic modelling showed that the depression extends in relation to the basement as far as the Kumów elevation, being separated from it by deep Udal fault. The model has been constructed with the premise of existance of two major crystalline formations. The first of these, shallowseated and less basic formation may form an infill of the basin in depth interval from 4 to 8 km, and the other, more basic and with stronger magnetic properties - a basement of the former and its frame in the form of the Kumów and Parczew elevations. In constructing the model, the possibility of occurrence of eruptions of magmas of the basalt type has been taken into account.Downloads
