Tektonika Pasma Ociesęckiego i Pasma Zamczyska w Górach Świętokrzyskich
Abstract
Przedstawiono wyniki badań tektonicznych środkowej części antyklinorium chęcińsko-klimontowskiego (region kielecki Gór Świętokrzyskich). Ruchy tektoniczne, które doprowadziły do deformacji utworów kambryjskich, należy wiązać z orogenezą sandomierską. Efektem jej było monoklinalne wychylenie warstw kambru ku północy, a następnie rozbicie ich na bloki tektoniczne. Stwierdzono przewagę deformacji nieciągłych nad ciągłymi. Na podstawie szczegółowych prac kartograficznych miąższość formacji piaskowców z Ociesęk, obejmującej wyższą część kambru dolnego i poziom Insularis kambru środkowego, oszacowano na co najmniej 1200 m. TECTONIC OF THE PASMO OCIESĘCKIE AND PASMO ZAMCZYSKA RANGES IN THE GÓRY ŚWIĘTOKRZYSKIE MTS The Pasmo Ociesęckie and Pasmo Zamczyska Ranges, situated in southern part of the GóryŚwiętokrzyskie Mts (Figs. 1 and 2), are built of rocks differentiated as the Ociesęki Sandstone Formation. The formation comprises rocks of the Holmia and Protolenus zones of the Lower Cambrian and those of the Insularis zone (or a part of it) of the Middle Cambrian (Fig. 3). The studied area represents the type area of that formation, where it attains at least 1200 m in thickness. Tectonic structure of Cambrian strata is here relatively simple, monoclinal (Figs. 2 and 4).It is further complicated by longitudinal and transversal faults (Fig. 2) which appear somewhat younger than continuous deformations.Analysis of tectonic of the Cambrian (including analysis of joint - see Fig. 5) showed that in that area the strata have been subjected to most intense deformations in times of Sandomirian movements (Fig. 6) and subsequent movements were of secondary importance only. The Sandomirian movements initially resulted in tilting the strata to the north and origin of wide-radius folds in southern part of the area, where shaly intercalations appear in the section. Vertical movements along somewhat later former faults resulted in subdivision of formerly uniform structure into separate tectonic blocks, central of which is of the tectonic trough type.Downloads
