Paleomiąższość, litofacje i paleotektonika epikontynentalnej jury dolnej w Polsce
Abstract
Mapy paleomiąższości i litofacji osadów jury dolnej obrazują kolejne etapy rozwoju basenu sedymentacyjnego. PALAEOTHICKNESS, LITHOFACIES AND PALAEOTECTONICS OF EPIKONTINENTALLOWER JURASSIC IN POLAND Three palaeothickness and lithofacies maps of Lower Jurassic are presented (Figs 1- 3). Based on these the palaeotectonic map has been elaborated showing, the pattern of the Lower Jurassic base at the end of Upper Toarcian (Fig. 4).Tectonic movements manifested at the boundary between the Rhaetian and Lower Jurassic formed new boundaries of the sedimentary basin, which at the end of Lower Sinemurian differed remarkably in its configuration from the Norian and Rhaetian basins. It was caused by the uplift of the areas located in the south and north-east of Poland. Then the main outlines of the Mid-Polish Furrow, the Wielkopolska Ridge, and the Laska - Poznań, Kalisz - Kamieńsk and Koszalin – Chojnice sedimentary grabens were formed. These palaeotectonic units did not change in particular stages of evolution of the Lower Jurassic basin until the end of Upper Toarcian.Downloads
