Minerały ciężkie pokryw zwietrzelinowych rejonu Opolna Zdroju - Markocic
Abstract
Opisano 48 minerałów ciężkich występujących w różnych odmianach morfogenetycznych oraz podjęto próbę ustalenia zespołów minerałów ciężkich, charakteryzujących główne typy zwietrzelin występujących w południowo-wschodnim obrzeżeniu zapadliska żytawskiego. W wybranych minerałach skałotwórczych, pobocznych i akcesorycznych, pochodzących z bazaltoidów, trachitów i sjenitów, oznaczono zawartości U. Th i sumy TR. Wyniki badań mineralogicznych potwierdzają hipotezę o wspólnej genezie granitów rumburskich i gnejsów izerskich. HEAVY MINERALS OF WASTE MANTLES IN THE OPOLNO ZDRÓJ - MARKOCICE REGION Complex geological survey and methodological investigations carried out by the Department ofMetallic Ore Deposits in the area situated among Opolno Zdrój, Jasna Góra and Markocice in the years 1978 - 1982 and 1984 - 1985 comprised studies on heavy minerals assemblages in waste mantles of metamorphic-magmatic and igneous-sedimentary rocks from SE margin of Zittau Depression.Forty eight heavy minerals have been recognized within deluvial-eluvial cover and some of them occur as several morphologic types. Most of these minerals are autochthonous but some of them are supposed to be allochthonous. Two heavy minerals - brockite and goyazite hitherto not recorded inSudetes as well as mineral carriers of radioactive elements and rare earths elements have been identified. The quantitative composition of concentrates extracted from the major waste mantles has been presented. It has been found that heavy minerals from the weathering clays covering Rumburk granitoids do not differ from heavy minerals obtained due to panning of crushed Izera gneisses and granite gneisses neither in granularity nor in morphogenetic variety or accessory minerals content. The above facts support a hypothesis on common origin of Izera and Rumburk granitoids.Downloads
