Gąbki z osadów albu północnego obrzeżenia Gór Świętokrzyskich

W utworach albu środkowego występujących w okolicach Przedborza stwierdzono obecność licznych, ale w większości źle zachowanych gąbek, wśród których znajdują się rodzaje Haliclona, Stolleya, Theneopsis i Tetillopsis. Bogatszy zespół gąbek uzyskano z osadów albu i dolnego cenomanu w Annopolu. Znajdują się w nim przedstawiciele rodzin: Ancorinidae, Craticulariidae, Leptophragmatitiae, Porospongiidae, Myliusiidae, Euretidae, Coeloscyphiidae, Polyblastiidae i Becksiidae. ALBIAN SPONGES FROM N MARGIN OF THE GÓRY ŚWIĘTOKRZYSKIE MTS In the vicinities or Anllopol and Przedbórz, detrital deposits or Middle and Upper Albian contain a great number or sponges with siliceous skeletons. In the vicinity or Annopol, Upper Albian Dictyda and Lychinskida prevail over Lychinskida -Tetracladina. Extremely abundant genera are as follows: Farrea, Eurete and Plocoscyphia. Their fine, meandering and anastomosing tubular, or lobar walls are formed of skeleton composed of hexactines (Farrea, Eurete) and lychnises (Plocoscyphia). Moreover there are sponges know from Jurassic deposits Tremadictyon, Sphenaulax, Trochobolus, and Porospongia as well as some Cretaceous genera which have lived till recent e.g. Farrea, Eurete, Aphrocalites, and other Sponges from Przedbórz vicinity are worse preserved. The following genera prevail in this assemblageHaliclona, Theneopsis, Stolleya and Tetillopsis. Their skeletons are built or spicules not permanently fixed.
