Abstract

The studies on the Neocomian foraminifera in the Kujawy region reveal that agglutinated foraminifera decidedly propredominate over the calcareous ones. This is related to the terrigenous nature of the sediments. Agglutinated foraminifers are especially numerous in the sediments representing the periods of regressions and falls of sea-level, as well as increased freshwater inflow.
