Zróżnicowanie korozji krasowej w zależności od kształtu korodowanej masy skalnej i jej stanu naprężeń
Abstract
KARST CORROSION DIFFERENTIATION ACCORDING TO SHAPES OF CORRODED ROCK MASSES AND THEIR STRESS-STRAIN STATETo definite possibilities of a karst intensification under a designed water dam on the Warta River near Działoszyn (Middle Poland) the model laboratory studies of corrosion were executed on practically equal beams, cut from macro-physically homogeneous petite limestone (Tab. 1), without any cracks and latent surfaces of the strength reduction (Fig. 1), in the specially constructed tank (Fig. 2), which has preserved a continuous flow of fresh tap water by same hydraulic gradient during 9 months. Observations (Fig. 3 and 4), measurements and calculations (Tab. 2-5), with regard to literature data, make possible to formulate the following general conclusions: 1- the karst corrosion is diffentiated in space and time; 2 - on the ground of shapes and specific surfaces of rocks and their fragments one can distinguish corrosions: angular, edge and plane ones; 3 - depends on the stress-strain state in rocks one can distinguish: normal corrosion, corrosion of tension and corrosion of high compression; 4 - corrosion variations in time and their hysteresis point out, that without taking into consideration each change of every karst factor during the whole period (e.g. 1000 a) a value of corrosion (e.g. mm/1000a) should not be estimated as mean value, but on the contraty it should be treated only as casual.Downloads
