Osady jeziorne interglacjalu ferdynandowskiego w Kotlinie Toruńskiej
Abstract
Osady jeziorne interglacjatu ferdynandowskiego zostały nawiercone w otworze wiertniczym Popioły 10 na głęb. 47,5-61,0 m. Diagram pyłkowy wykonany na podstawie 31 probek pochodzących z głęb. 50,0-57,8 m wykazuje uderzające podobieństwo do fragmentu diagramu związanego z dolnym optimum k1imatycznym z Ferdynandowa.LACUSTRINE DEPOSITS OF FERDYNANDÓW INTERGLACIAL FROM THE TORUŃ VALLEYThe lacustrine deposits of the Ferdynandów Interglacial were found in the Popioły 10 borehole, located in the Toruń Vlley at the depth 47.5-61.0 m. Three beds were distinguished there: bed 1, lower (depth 56.5-61.0 m), consisted of light-grey clayey silts laminated with dark clay, bed 2 - in middle (depth 54.3-56.5 m), composed of light-grey and greenish gyttjas, and bed 3, upper (depth 47.5-54.3 m) - of light-grey silts laminated with dark-grey clays or clayey silts. The lower bed was underlaied with grey, calcareless vari-grained sands of probable fluvial origin but upper one was covered by light-grey, calcareless sands of possible deltaic genesis. All series of Ferdynandów Interglacial occur above the Tertiary deposits but under the sandy-gravelly rocks of the Eemian Interglacial. The pollen diagram, based on data from 31 samples from the depth 50.0-57.8 m, indicated a salient similarity to fragment of diagram from Ferdynandów, suggesting the lower climatic optimum.Downloads
