Eskers and kames of Hrubieszów Basin (Lublin Upland)

Abstract

The relief, geological structure and lithological features of esker and kame as well as stages in their development were characterized. Subglacial eskers form erosion channel filled with fluviogiacial sediments. Kame developed in the open crevasse between dead ice blocks. The age of studied forms was documented by the thermoluminescence dating (TL) as San Glaciation (SII).
