Palynostratigraphy of the Lower and Middle Buntsandstein in north-western part of the Holy Cross Mts.
Abstract
Three spore-pollen assemblages, representing Lundbladispora obsoleta-Protohaploxypinus pantii and Densoi-sporites nejburgii Zones, were distinguished within the Lower and Middle Buntsandstein deposits in NW part of the Holy Cross Mts. Palynofacies analysis provided for more detail data about the changes of depositional environment during the Early Triassic in the studied area. Palaeoenvironmental model used here indicates two climatic cycles in the Lower and Middle Buntsandstein.Downloads
