Abstract
ADINOL CONTACT IN BARDO (ŚWIĘTY KRZYŻ MOUNTAINSAltered fine clastic sediments 60 cm. thick were discovered in the Prągowiec ravine near Bardo (Święty Krzyż Mountains) on the bottom of diabase intrusion.The rock could be examined directly on the contact (fig. 1 a, b). It is dark, grey, hard, has a flat conchoidal fracture and of cubic jointing. It melts slightly at the. blowing pipe giving a yellow flame. Under this thin coating a rock of a light greyish tint (fig. 2, 3) with dark knots appears. Its thickness reaches up to 8 cm. similarly (to the coating from the direct contact. Beneath, extend almost unaltered hard black shales with greywacke intercalations.Downloads
