Abstract

GLAUCOPHANE METAMORPHIC FACIES IN THE EASTERN BORDER OF THE PLUTONIC INTRUSION OF JELENIA GÓRA (LOWER SILESIA)

In the region of Opawa and Niedamirów (district of Kamienna Góra) in samples collected in, a creek a mineral similar to glaucophane has been found. The author collected therefore specimens for petrographical investigation at various local rock outcrops. The collected rocks belong, generally speaking, to the greenstone facies; some of them, resembling megascopically to albitlized amphibolites, reveal, by their composition, appurtenance to the albite-epidote-amphibole facies.
