Nowe spostrzeżenia dotyczące diabazu z Barda (Góry Świętokrzyskie)
Abstract
NEW OBSERVATIONS ON THE DIABASE AT BARDO (ŚWIĘTY KRZYŻ MOUNTAINS)The diabase in the Prągorwiec ravine at Bardo near·Łagów ()Święty Krżyż Mountains) appears in deposits of the Upper Ludlow. It is underlain by black graptoIitic shales which gradually pass into yellow shales containing a fauna of brachiopods, pelecypods, trilobites and - higher up - ostracods. At the bottom of the Prągowiec ravine, the contact zone of the diabase reaches a thickness of 50 cm. Alterations observed in this zone consist on the hardening and darkening of the siltstone rocks. Compared with the dip of the diabase intrusion, the angle·of dip of the sedimentary rock series reveals an unconformity of 7° (PIate I, Fig. 5), while the direction of both is identical. In both instances the strike is unchanged.Downloads
