Abstract

MALM AND LOWER CRETACEOUS IN THE REGION OF KCYNIA (NORTH-WESTERN POLAND)By means of four bore-holes, located on a section, transverse to the central part of the Kujawy-Pomorze anticlinorium, it became possible to ascertain the structure of the southern limb of this. anticlinorium; thus a full profile was obtained of the Malm (910 m. thick), of the Neocomian (1.17 m.) and of too continental Lower Cretaceous (112 m.). These sediments dip at an angle of about 7° to SSW. The lithological-stratigraphical profile of the series drilled through is the following:
