Osuwisko w Kobyle-Gródku nad Jeziorem Rożnowskim
Abstract
LANDSLIDE AT KOBYLE-GRÓDEK NEAR THE ROŻNÓW LAKE (CARPATHIANS)In this paper the author discusses her geological investigation of one of the Carpathian landslides; this field work was carried out in 1955-1956. The discussed landslide is situated on the slopes of the Dunajec river, near the Rożnów dammed lake, at Kobyle-Gródek. It occurred in Tertiary Eocene sediments· of the Carpathian Flysch, developed in the shape of alternating shale-sandstone beds, covered by shale and sandstone waste of considerable thickness. The entire slide may be divided into an upper; older part which probably took in the Pleistocene - and a lower, younger one which has been observed approximately in 1946.Downloads
