Problemy stratygraficzne w górnośląskim karbonie produktywnym w świetle badań mikrosporowych
Abstract
STRATIGRAPHICAL PROBLEMS IN THE UPPER SILESIAN PRODUCTIVE CARBONIFEROUS IN VIEW OF MIOROSPORE INVESTIGATIONSDuring the investigation of microspores and pollen in coal seams and sterile rocks of the Upper Silesian Productive Carboniferous, there has been ascertained their remarkable significance for stratigraphical purposes. In the present paper, the author presents a synopsis of genera of Upper Silesian microspores and pollen. and discusses microstratigraphical units, distinguished on the basis of index species among characteristic microspore-pollen associations. Analyzing the current division of the Upper Silesian Productive Carboniferous the author reaches the conclusion that it requires certain modifications based upon his results of palynological investigations.Downloads
