O pozycji geologicznej okruszcowania w okolicy Baligrodu
Abstract
NOTES ON THE GEOLOGICAL POSITION OF MINERAL ORES IN THE REGION OF BALIGRÓD (MIDDLE CARPATHIANS)The first news of the occurrence of arsenic minerals in the FIysch formations of the Baligród region we find in a paper published by M. Kamieński (1937). Subsequent investigations led to the finding of further new minerals, and also brought about a changed conception regarding both tectonics and stratigraphy of this area (A. Ślączka, 1956).The discussed fold is situated in the Middle Carpathians on the line of an important tectonic dislocation which separates, in the south, the central depression from the folds lying at the front of the Dukla overthrusts. This fold is intensely folded in scales, and intersected by numerous faults. These faults are connected with this scale only, not passing onto the remaining folds of the foreland.Downloads
