Konkrecie fosforytowe w osadach turonu okolic Krakowa
Abstract
PHOSPHORITE CONCRETIONS IN TURONIAN·SEDIMENTS OF CRACOW REGIONIn the Turonian limestones and conglomerates appearing in the region of Cracow sporadically small phosphorite concretions (of sizes up to 3 cm.) are being found. They have been investigated both in microscope thin section and by chemical analyses, so as to determine their content of P2O5. This presence of small phosphorite concretions, visible in the, microscope only, tends to increase the overall content of phosphatus in the Turonian sediments. In order to characterize this appearance the authors made a number of determinations of P2O5 from. samples of limestones and conglomerates in which the concretions occur. The results of these analyses have been presented on Table 3.Downloads
