Seria podśląska koło Goleszowa (Śląsk Cieszyński)
Abstract
SUBSILESIAN SERIES NEAR GOLESZÓW (SILESIA)In the small tectonic windows near Goleszów Middle-Upper Cretaceous and Eocene beds occur, developed mainly as marly or argillaceous deposits.Within the area of Goleszów there occur narrow zones with beds younger than the surrounding Lower Cretaceous beds belonging to the Silesian nappe. In a few bore-holes executed in this area beds of Middle-Upper Cretaceous and Eocene age have been found. These beds are more or less intensely folded together with the lowest member of the Silesian nappe, i.e. with the Lower Cieszyn (Teschen) shales. The determination of the age of the beds in question is based mainly on their foraminiferal assemblages.Downloads
