Dolnokarbońska erozja na południowym brzegu serii górnodewońskiej gnejsów sowiogórskich
Abstract
LOWER CARBONIFEROUS EROSION OF UPPER DEVONIAN SERIES ON SOUTHERN MARGIN OF SOVIE GÓRY (EULENGEBIRGE) GNEISSESAn allochthonous block of limestones appears within the range of the gneiss conglomerates occurring along too southern margin of the Sowie Góry gneisses and belonging to horizon or to the Older Visean. This limestone contains a fauna which presumably belongs to the Etroungt member. The direction from north to south, in which transportation of the conglomerate material has been taking place, indicates that, at the period of sedimentation or the gneiss conglomerates of the Lower Carboniferous, there were eroded limestones corresponding to the strata on the boundary between the Devonian and the Carboniferous. They bad been covering part of the Sowie Góry gneisses.Downloads
