Główne problemy trzeciorzędu okolic Zaklikowa
Abstract
MAIN PROBLEMS OF THE TERTIARY IN THE ZAKLIKÓW REGION (LUBLIN PLATEAU)The author reports the results of her investigations on the Tertiary of the southern margin of the Lublin Plateau and of its foreland; in the region of Zaklików. Aside of a relic fragment of the Oligocene, here the Tertiary is represented by Miocene deposits belonging to the Haelvetian, Tortonian and Sarmatian. ln the Lower Tortonian the author has distinguished the folowing horizons: the sublithotamnian, the lithotamnian, the supralithotamnian (Baranów beds), and the Ervilian. Equivalent of the gypsum horizon are lacking. Owing to the absence of suitable index, the younger Tortonian reduced by the Sarmatian transgression; has not been divided. In favourable facial conditions the Tortonian reefs (limestone with Haliotis volhynica) have probably been formed throughout the duration of almost the whole the Tortonian.Downloads
