Abstract

NOTES ON STRATIGRAPHY AND PALAEOGEOGRAPHY OF KROSNO BEDS ON FOREFIELD OF OTRYT MT. BETWEEN SZEWCZENKO AND POLANA (CARPATHIANS)This paper contains the results· of investigations carried out on this area in 1965 and reported at the Scientific· Session of spring 1957.The author upholds the partition introduced by L. Horwitz (1936) with regard to the northern part of the· Central Carpathian Depression. Moreover, he divides the southwestern part into two facial zones B and C; zone A is an integral part of Horwitz's northeastern region.
