Abstract
REMARKS ON DEVELOPMENT AND STRATIGRAPHICAL OF THE JASŁO SHALES IN THE MENILITIC AND KROSNO SERIES OF THE MIDDLE CARPATHIANSThe authors have discovered numerous outcrops of Jasło shales (laminated and non-Iaminated limestones and calcareous shales) in various regions of the Middle Carpathians, within the range of the Silesian unit and the Central Depression as well as in the Subsilesian and the Skole unit. The Jasło shales appear in several variations of the Krosno beds (in both Silesian unit and Central Depression, and in several sections of the Subsilesian and the Skole unit), at the boundary·between the menilitic and the Krosno beds (several sections of the Subsilesian and Skole units), and likewise in the upper part of the menilitic beds (several sections of the Subsilesian and the Skole units).Downloads
