Abstract

PECULIAR ASPECTS OF GEOELECTRIC SURVEY AT MRZYGŁÓD (NORTH-EASTERN PERIPHERY OF THE UPPER SILESIAN BASIN)The purpose of this paper is: 1. To elucidate the geological structure of the Mrzygłód region in the north-eastern periphery of the Upper Silesian Basin, 2. To present and to discuss the character of geoelectric survey carried out in this region.The field work serving as basis for this paper has been undertaken in 1956; the collected material was elaborated chiefly in 1956-57. Preceding the geoelectric, there were made in this region, gravimetric and magnetic surveys as· well as, partly, bore-hole investigations. Among these preliminary studies, most interesting ware the results of the magnetic investigations.
