Fauna malmu w otworze wiertniczym Piekary
Abstract
THE MALM FAUNA IN BORE-HOLE PIEKARY (NEAR POZNAŃ)On the basis of the occurrence of characteristic species of fauna the author succeeded in documenting, in bore-hole Piekary, the following stages of the Malm:·the Oxfordian, the Rauracian, and the Astartian. The Oxfordian has been subdivided·into substages: the Divesian, the Nevisian and the Argovian. The thickness of the Oxfordian in the discussed bore-hole section is 23.70 m., that of the Rauracian 92.80·m., and of the Astartian 33.70 m.Alongside of an ammonite fauna the author ascertained the occurrence of Rhynchonella forms, among which predominates Lacunosella cracoviensis (Q u e n.); this species is found both in the Rauracian and the Astartian. Among the numerous species of fauna which are documenting the Malm sediments in bore-hole Piekary, the author has described eight; one of them is a new species, Amoebocras piecarum n. sp. occurring in the Astartian at the depth of 232.00; 233.10-234.60; 234.60-237.20 m.Downloads
