Abstract

AGE OF THE UPPER HELENÓW BEDS (LIAS) IN VIEW OF MEGA- AND MICROSPORE INVESTIGATIONS (GEOLOGICAL SECTION GORZÓW ŚLĄSKI - PRASZKA)Complex palaeobotanical investigations of sediments containing Jurassic material from both the region of the Northern Cracow - Wieluń Jura Chain (geological·section Gorzów Śląski - Praszka) and the periphery of the Święty Krzyż Mountains (Skarżysko Kamienna, Gostków, Odrowąż, and others) made it possible to define characteristic mega-and microspore associations for both the Lower and the Upper Lias.
