Abstract

OCCURRENCE OF URANIUM MINERALS IN POLANDIn this paper, the author discusses, in general outlines, the occurrence of uranium minerals in Poland. He presents a list of these minerals as well as their distribution within the crystalline and metamorphosed massifs and in sedimentary rocks. He distinguishes primary and secondary uranium minerals, and examines the conditions of their origin. Furthermore, he characterizes paragenetic associations and the origin of uranium mineralization.
