Abstract
FLUVIAL DEPOSITS OF THE RGILEWKA VALLEY (CENTRAL POLAND)In her paper the author has analyzed the fluvial deposits in the middle sector of the valley of the small Rgilewka river a tributary of the Warta river. Underneath the fluvial deposits the Rgilewka valley floor is sculptured within the boulder cIay of the Middle Polish Glaciation, Mazowsze-Podlasie stage. This sculptures is predisposed by glacial features from the glaciation period, but its ultimate from it probably gained in the Eemian interglacial. In the entire valley the author distinguishes six sectors of different origin and different gradient, shown in the longitudinal section of the actual flood terrace. The gradients vary from 2.34‰ in sector II in which the river leaving the area of terminal moraines penetrates the boulder clay ,plain, to 0.20‰ in sector VI, near its joining the Warta river.Downloads
