REMARKS OF THE WEATHERING OF BASALTS IN THE REGION OF LEGNICA AND LUBAŃ ŚLĄSKI

In the firm part of his paper, the author describes processes of changes and presents a petrographical-chemical characteristic of the weathered basalts occurring on Kaczawskie Pogórze(Katzbach Highland) in the region of Duninów-Święciany (near Legnica); in the second part he discusses the weathering of basalts in surface parts of a quarry at Księginki near Lubań ŚIąski.
