Abstract
GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURE OF SUB-MIOCENE SEDIMENTS OF THE MIDDLE CARPATHIAN FORELANDGenerally speaking, the area of the Middle Carpathian foreland is situated in the fork between the Vistula and San rivers, eastwards extending far at the Polish frontier. The southern boundary is marked by the border of the Carpathians, the northwestern and northern boundary by the emerging Palaeozoic and Mesozoie sediments of the Świety Krzyż Mountains and the Cretaceous sediments of the Lublin depression. The natural, range of the Subcarpathian foreland extends further, both east-and westwards, beyond Poland’s frontiers.Downloads
