Mikrofauna osadów górnojurajskich w rejonie Wojszyc
Abstract
MICROFAUNA OF JURASSIC SEDIMENTS IN WOJSZYCE REGIONThe author discusses the microfauna appearing in the Malm of the Wojszyce region (Central Poland), as well as its range within the individual stages, assuming the stratigraphical division as suggested by S. Marek in his paper: Geological results of fundamental investigations in the Wojszyce region.Due to the scanty amount of microfauna available, it proved impossible to evidence the Divesian and Nevisian sediments. Neither was the author able to draw an accurate dividing line between the Argovian and Rauracian on the basis of microfauna discovered, nor to divide the latter stage into its members. Even so, the author succeeded in identifying a fairly characteristic assemblage of foraminifers connected with the calcareo-sponge Argovian-Rauracian facies. The occurrence of some of the forms, suggested the possibility of assigning the examined samples to either the Argovian or the Rauracian.Downloads
