Abstract
STRATIGRAPHY AND FACIAL PROBLEMS OF RAURACIAN AND ASTARTIAN IN BORE-HOLES WOJSZYCE AND KŁODAWAThe Rauracian and Astartian sediments pierced by bore-holes in the region of Wojszyce and Kłodawa (Central .Poland) are developed as compact bluish-grey, locally dolomitized, limestones, or as oolite, sometimes pelitic or pisolitic, greyish-white limestones. Worthy of particular interest are Astartian limestones; and gastropods of the Nerineidae family appearing with them. Numerous species of genera like Ptygmatis, Nerinella and AptyxieIla, occurring plentifully in the Astartian limestones, especially in those of the Mesozoic periphery of the Święty Krzyż Mountains, corroborate the occurrence of the Astartian in these bore-holes.Downloads
