Abstract

CALCULATION OF VOLUME AND MASS OF ROCKS OF THE SEDIMENTARY SERIES IN POLAND (EXCLUDING THE CARPATHIANS)The author presents his calculation of the sedimentary rocks which in the period from the Cambrian through the Quaternary developed in Poland. However, this investigation fails to embrace the sediments of the Alpine orogeny (the Carpathians). As basis for this calculation the author used Atlas Geologiczny Polski (Geologieal Atlas of Poland) in 1:3 000 000 scale.
